The published care packages include WordPress and plugin updates. For an existing WordPress or WooCommerce site, share the URL, hosting arrangement, plugin list and known problems so suitability and any initial remedial work can be reviewed.

Shopify platform hosting and core updates work differently. Do not assume that a WordPress care package applies unchanged to a hosted store or a bespoke system. Ask for the appropriate support scope.

Essential covers the published hosting, monitoring, backup and update foundations. Standard adds daily backups, monthly performance checks, form/link testing and an allowance for content updates. Premium adds more update time and reporting/review tasks. Exact inclusions are in the comparison below.

All care plans are rolling monthly with no minimum term. Cancel any time with 30 days’ notice. UK hosting is included on every plan. Unused content update hours do not roll over. Care plans cover maintenance, support and small changes, not new page builds or redesigns, which are quoted separately.

• Ask whether the update allowance covers the specific text, image or product edits you expect.
• Agree how a request is estimated before a small edit becomes development work.
• A new page layout, redesign, custom integration or catalogue restructure needs its own scope.
• Do not assume unlimited emergency recovery, incident cleanup or third-party licence costs are included.

1. Access: identify who controls hosting, domain registration, plugin licences and payments.
2. Backups: agree what is stored, how often, where it is kept and how a restore would be tested.
3. Changes: separate routine updates from a feature release and agree testing for enquiry or purchase journeys.
